Commitment To Safety
SAFETY STANDARDS
The safety and security of each and every flight is the number one priority of every employee of Skyline Jets. All flight operations are performed by independently rated Air Carriers in strict accordance with FAR Part 135 regulations – the most stringent Federal Aviation Administration classification for private aviation.
In addition to the Federal Aviation Administration regulations, operators and aircraft are required to meet additional safety and reliability standards established by Skyline Jets. Aircraft age, pilot training, maintenance history, and safety audit ratings are among the many criteria reviewed to ensure that every flight exceeds the requirements for approval by our in-house Flight Standards Team.
Air Carriers operating program flights carry a minimum liability insurance of $50 million dollars per occurrence and heavy jet aircraft carry a minimum $100 million in liability insurance. Organizations and/or individual passengers are listed as additionally insured after confirmation of a reservation and a certificate of insurance can be provided by the direct Air Carrier upon request.
Travel feeling secure and comfortable on flights operated by the most highly qualified FAR Part 135 Air Carriers in the executive aviation industry.
OPERATIONS
All flights are operated by FAR Part 135 Air Carriers approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, US Department of Transportation and other governmental agencies. Skyline Jets is not a direct Air Carrier and does not operate aircraft used to transport passengers. Air Carriers selected by Skyline Jets maintain operational control at all times to ensure safety and accuracy in all flight operations.
FAR Part 135 regulates critical operational requirements including:
- Aircraft Maintenance Standards
- Crew Training & Experience
- PIC & SIC Hours In Type
- Crew Pairing Restrictions
- Crew Duty Limitations
- Runway Requirements
- Aircraft Avionics and Safety Equipment Requirements
Air Carriers providing service for the Skyline Jets program must meet both FAA safety requirements and additional safety standards established by Skyline Jets.
AUDITING & VERIFICATION
Independent research and auditing enables Skyline Jets to verify aircraft and operations based on unbiased third party information. Air Carriers operating aircraft for Skyline Jetcard member flights
are rated by ARG/US and Wyvern, the leading independent aviation auditing agencies.
ARG/US “Trip Cheq” data enables Skyline Jets to evaluate aircraft profiles and crew qualifications in real-time as part of the pre-flight safety checklist for every mission.
